Data Protection and Privacy

OWS supports clients to navigate the ever-changing data protection and privacy environment, including GDPR and NIST 800-171 adoption. We take a holistic approach with our clients, seeing data management as the foundation of a larger knowledge management strategy to enable the organization to "tell its story" and output statistical reports in a manner that is strictly compliant with data privacy regulations.

OWS experts advise clients and provide workshops on J-1 regulations and SEViS, both as a refresher to seasoned staff and to new visa officers. We are able to provide ongoing coaching as well as serving as an "on call" resource in emergency situations to help organizations navigate through complex situations. OWS has partners with our clients to coach and train student advisors particularly in the area of crisis management, including responding to physical and emotional health emergencies and natural disasters impacting campuses.
